11 Miles

I was able to get back to the gym today, FINALLY. The last time I stepped on the scale it said I was 183 lbs. The time before that it said I was 186 lbs. It’s back to the basics baby, and I’m recording my food too. My blog might even work to bore you a teensy bit.

So I was thinking that I’ll get back into some sort of a routine and then really hang on to the purse strings when it comes to food. I think if I write it down OR blog it, I might have better success.

Went shopping to find some clothes for the funeral yesterday. I’m comfortable in a size 16. I can squeeze into a size 14, but it winds up being too tight. Vera Wang makes the cutest most comfortable high heels I have ever stepped into and walked around in. Where was she when I was working at the casino and had to wear suits every day? I can’t get over how comfortable her shoes are. Anyway, Kohl’s is having a great sale and I managed to find a brand new swim suit too. Yay Me!

This is where I’m at so far:

  • 1.5 cups of honey nut Cheerios w/2% milk
  • 10 miles of spin w/lots of water
  • 1 mile of walking at a moderate pace after
  • came home and was starving so I ate 20 raw whole almonds
  • now I need to drink more water
  • I’ll be back later to let y’all know what I did for lunch
  • Oh and I got Fiona signed up for spring swim lesson, Yay!

Lunch consisted of:

  • 1 Bowl of Salad (I usually go for broke on those)
  • A few strawberries
  • Leftover Chicken that Don cooked up the other day, Yum!
  • When Lauren came home from school she asked me to try one of her chocolate chip cookies that I had been avoiding all day. They are very small, so I had one.
  • I’ll be back to let you know what I did for dinner.

Dinner Consisted of:

  • Bread sticks
  • Spaghetti
  • Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower, Yum!

First I gotta start off by saying, I think it’s great that my anti-spam word was “squidward” LOL, me and my 2 girls are spongebob fans and I got a chuckle out of that. :-D

I clicked in to your site via another blog I read and I wanted to tell you it looks like you are doing GREAT with your new lifestyle/workout/diet routine! It’s hard work isn’t it? Keep it up, the results will be worth it!

I’ve GOT to get on the ball. I keep starting, then stopping. You’re inspiring me, Angela!

I am so proud of you! You can do this! It will not be long and you will be in the size that you want to be in. I wish that I could go to spin class with you. I so enjoyed that when we went together. My legs felt like a ton of bricks, but I loved the fact that I accomplished what I accomplished.

I had no idea that Vera Wang had comfortable heals. I have to wear heals with a couple of my dress pants for work. By the end of the day, I am about to throw the shoes away. I need to go check them out. It is about time that someone made comfortable heals.

    Love you!!!

Miss Fiona has a bit of a cough today so we were unable to attend bible study. That means I will not get to go to the gym today either. I’ll have to settle for the treadmill, the ball, and my weights.

Yesterday I ran .5 miles on the treadmill and walked the rest. On the ball I did sit ups in reps of 20. In between those reps I did arm curls with 6 lbs of weights in reps of 20.

    Yay!

Don bought Little Debbies. I have a weakness for those. I just finished eating one. Poohey.
