184 – 178, down 6lbs

Today at the gym I told Kim I was going to try not to dwell on the pounds OR my scale and that I would concentrate more on how my clothes fit. My clothes are fitting me in a weird way lately. I can’t explain it but to say that my excercise pants have to be readjusted because they keep sliding. Maybe I just need better workout pants. In any case, the situation prompted me to step on the scale.

I know you’re not supposed to weigh yourself in the middle of the day OR at night but I’m to the point that weight loss is weight loss no matter what you are wearing OR what time of the day that you step on the scale. I was surprised to see that I had dipped below 180 lbs. That’s good, right?

So I will give it awhile before I weigh myself again OR maybe I won’t weigh myself at all. Don’t hold me to it though because I always change my mind.

I  went back to a spin class this week. It was hard but it was good. I was glad to be back actually and I’m looking forward to doing those classes at least once OR twice a week. If you can get into spinning then that is some serious calorie burning if you can stick it out through a 50 – 55 minute class. Your butt is going to be sore at first but after about the 4th or 5th class you won’t even notice.

Today I ran two laps around the track with Kim without stopping. I couldn’t believe it. Normally when I’m working out I can only run one lap without stopping before I do another set over in the weight area. When it came time to run in between sets the 2nd time, I almost did two laps in a row without stopping again.

I’m headed back to the gym tomorrow. I’ll probably work my butt off because it’s Friday and I don’t know if I will make it in to the gym this weekend. Oh and the girls had a blast at the gym tonight. They both got to do the Kiddie Cooking Class while I was working out. Maybe I’ll share those pictures for Wordless Wed next week.

I am so proud of you Angela!!!!
Keep it up! You are inspiring me to get back into working out. I have a Boflex, I just need something for cardeo. I am just happy for you! Before you know it, you will be where you want to be. Just hang in there. Love you! Oh, for your own personal collection, you should take pictures of yourself as the weeks go on. You will see a change. A friend of mine did that. She put on a sports bra and shorts and took pictures of herself. She is a lot smaller now and has pictures to inspire her.

Thanks you guys! I appreciate the encouragement.

Heather, do you like your Boflex? A good way to get your cardio is to go running OR to pop in a workout DVD.

I’m planning on keeping track of my pictures. Hopefully people will see a difference when I take another family photo again. Kinda like I did with the one for Christmas.
