The 3rd of July is sometimes even busier than the 4th of July. This year was no exception.
Hyvee over on West Maple road, way way out, was having all sorts of fun activities for the entire family. They had booths set up, games, and free pony rides. We stood in line for about 45 minutes waiting for our turn. Let me just say even with the wait and the rain, it was worth it!
Every year we drive over to the Westroads Mall and park. We pay the $3.00 p/adult bus fee and we hop on the big yellow school bus for a ride to Rosenblatt Stadium where we take in an Omaha Royals baseball game and some fireworks.
Flags were flying everywhere along the road to Rosenblatt.
