I Am Pooped

Kinsley was so proud yesterday standing with all the bigger kids waiting to get her swimming certificate.

When the swimming instructor called her name she received her certificate and could not wait to show it to me.

After doing the high five celebration dance I read it to her. Her swimming award said:

Congratulations!

of the American Red Cross
Swimming and Water Safety
program conducted at
PLF.

This was a big deal to Kinsley because the first swim class she ever took was with me at the PLF Mommy and Me. I remember in the beginning she did not want to let go of me. It wasn’t until we got to the end of that class that she started to really kick it up a notch and try stuff without being so clingy. So the fact that she was able to go to this swim class and complete it without Mommy around: HUGE.

My next objective is to get Kinsley signed up for the Preschool Aquatics Level 2 class. I looked for that yesterday but couldn’t find anything after July 27th and that particular class was full. So I’ll have to wait and see what they come up with at the gym. In the meantime Fiona starts another swim class for the next two weeks beginning on Monday.
