Crisp Ginger Ale, Granny Smith Apple, Spring Bluebell

The colors were confusing me so much that I decided to go to Home Depot and get some samples. I also changed my mind on two of the colors. The colors that you see in the photo are the ones I decided to go with by Glidden.

What we have is Crisp Ginger Ale (yellow-ish), Granny Smith Apple (lime-ish), and Spring Bluebell (blue-ish). I’m very  happy about those colors because they go with the colors in the bedding that Kinsley picked for her room.

Yesterday I worked on spackling the holes and imperfections on the walls. The spackle that I found was in a tube. It goes on bright pink and dries white. That way you can tell when the area is dry and ready to be sanded. For sanding I used a little sand sponge. Some of the imperfections required two or three coats of spackle. I’ll have to go back and double check today and see what it looks like after the final sanding process.

I got most of the room taped up and ready to go. Now I need to go and pick up the paint today from Home Depot but not until after I get my workout at the gym. Speaking of working out — I totally missed Weigh-In-Wednesday yesterday. Oh well — maybe I will remember to do that next week. Besides, I don’t think I’ve lost any weight yet. It’s a real nasty battle with my thyroid. I am adjusting my diet to stay away from sugar and fast food. Once I get used to being on that I’m going back on the Alli.

Love, love, love the colors! Very pretty!

I wish I’d get myself in gear & stay away from sugar & fast food. It’s a struggle. Hang in there.

I love the colors… I can’t wait to see the final product. It’s going to look great & their bunk beds, too cool, and the bedding / plush blankets they picked out.. JEALOUS! ;) I hope you’re having a great time w/ all this painting bliss. :D
