The weather is going to be practically perfect on Friday. It seems like a great day for a road trip to Ocean’s of Fun. So…that’s where we’re headed.
Fiona started her swim lessons this week. She is in level two for her age group and she is learning a lot of new swimming techniques. Her swim lessons will go for two weeks.
As long as she is swimming I am getting us to the gym between 3:00 and 3:30 every day. I have discovered the incline feature on the treadmill and have been hiking uphill as fast as I can take it. My butt feels like it’s melting away so that’s good.
Yesterday I had a girls night with Lauren. It’s been a long time since we hung out just the two of us. We went to Outback Steakhouse and then to the movies to see The Ugly Truth. Loved it! We laughed so hard throughout the movie. Umm… do not take your PG-13 kids to see this as they are clearly NOT old enough.
Today is my brother’s 14th wedding anniversary. I can not believe that he and Heather have been married for 14 years. That’s a long time to be married. I will say it again: Happy Anniversary Chris and Heather!!!
I have a prayer request. Would you praying people out there please pray for my family that we would make good decisions and see the light at the end of that dark tunnel. Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in a tunnel of darkness. I really appreciate your willingness to keep us all in your prayers. Thank you so much.
Ok….so that’s enough blogging. I need to get to the gym and run my butt off, lift some weights, and hike that incline. I’ll catch you guys later.
