Here’s what I know about Jonny Diaz
What I know about Jonny Diaz I heard on Positive Encouraging K-Love Radio. I have my dial set to 88.1 here in good ol’ Omaha, Nebraska. They play “A More Beautiful You” all the time and it is requested from listeners A Lot.
When I first heard the song I fell in love with it right away. The words struck a chord deep within and it made me think about my little girls 18, 5, and 3, and what goes through their minds when they look in the mirror.
I don’t want my girls to compete with what they see in magazines and on television. I want them to like what they see when they look in the mirror and love who they are deep down inside. I want them to know that they were thought of and created with great consideration by a Maker who pays great attention to detail.

This post is dedicated to Hilary Pile on behalf of my daughter Lauren Stevens whose heart has been touched forever by this young girl that went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2009. Hilary Pile was born on November 1, 1989 and passed away due to complications from an eating disorder. May God bless her and provide peace to all who knew her, and touch the hearts of those that didn’t know her. It is my hope that Hilary’s death never goes unnoticed.

I have to say that I love this song! It is awesome! There are so many girls out there that need to hear this song.
Chris told me today about the young woman who died. I am so sorry to know about that and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I will be praying for them.

I am truly sorry for your loss. My daughter went to be with the Lord a couple of years ago, she is just 8 months younger than Hilary. I know the devastation. My heart and prayers go out to your family as well as Hilary’s family. The Lord is truly good, and will be faithful in giving strength, love and yes, even joy again. God bless yall!

Hi Angela,
My daughter didn’t pass away from an eating disorder, she passed away from auto accident when she was 15 yr old. She would now be 19. My heart truly goes out to this family as I can remember those first really tender weeks of just barely making it minute by minute. But there is uplifting news. God’s promise holds true, He will never leave, nor forsake me, you or Hilary’s family. He is faithful. I would love to share my testimony with Hilary’s family, if they are willing. From one mother’s heart to another.
