I have always wondered about whether or not I should try taking Alli and incorporating that into my workout routine. The working out is going fine but sometimes I wonder if maybe there is something more I can do to help me. It’s frustrating stepping on the scale and seeing that I’m gaining instead of losing. Try as I may.. I have a feeling my thyroid is my biggest problem.
So today I decided to give my doctor a call and ask about taking that new FDA approved Alli.
I got to talk to my doctor’s nurse. She was honest and said that not many people call to ask about Alli. So she was going to have to do some checking, talk directly to my doctor and then give me a call back. I explained to her that I am taking Synthroid every day as well as on Lexapro. She said basically that it shouldn’t be a problem and that she would call me right back after she pulled my chart and talked with my doctor.
It wasn’t even an hour later and she called me back with the “OK” from my doctor that it would be fine. So I think I’m going to go to Walmart and pick up my first starter kit. I realize that it’s not going to solve my problem and that I have to actually change how I eat and keep working at it through excercise.. but right now I am just frustrated with my weight. Like I said… I’m gaining and not losing. It’s hard knowing that I’ve been trying and I’m still sitting at 185 lbs.
So it’s off to Walmart I go tonight to pick up some Alli. I’m also going to be checking out their web site at www.myalli.com
