I Am Pooped

Since I think I’ve done this meme pretty recently, I will go ahead and switch it up a bit. I will post 7 random things that are on my mind at this moment and then I will tag 7 people I know in the blogosphere.

1. There is a book that came highly recommended by my brother Chris and my sister-in-law Heather. Heather wrote some thoughts on what this book meant to her. The next day my brother called me and urged me to go out and buy it. I did. I found the book at Target. There were only two left. The book is called The Shack by William Paul Young.

2. On my desk is a copy of our House Rules, a contract that I drew up this evening between me and my daughter. We both signed them and have copies of our own. I’m hoping our relationship will be better as a result of this contract and hopefully she will pull it off and do what’s right.

3. Tomorrow I am meeting my sister-in-law Kim at the gym for another workout. I like working out with her because we always have this way of making the time fly right by with our conversation. She is so much fun to be around. I’m so glad we are close.

4. I am ready to have our taxes filed. I am hoping and praying we don’t have to pay in this year. We didn’t have to pay in last year but that was then and this is now. We need to get this done soon so Lauren can file her financial aid paperwork for college.

5. I just ate a Resse’s Peanut Butter Cup. Yum.

6. I think I like the Kit Kat Crisp Wafers better.

7. Please pray for Don’s grandpa. He is 90 years old and in the hospital because he is having trouble with his heart. They have him on oxygen and hopefully they will figure out what is going on some time tomorrow after they run more tests.
