This is what our Christmas Tree wound up looking like after we were done stringing all the lights. As you can see because it’s oh so obvious.. there are some dark patches. I don’t think I can live with the dark patches.
You guys don’t understand.. I will sit and look at the tree from every angle and from lots of different spots in the house. The dark spots are going to bug me pretty bad. I won’t be able to sleep if it’s not done right.
So…. Fiona and I went to K-mart where they have everything you can imagine and picked up 400 white lights and 400 more multi-colored lights. We are going to de-string the tree so I can see where the white lights on the pre-light parts aren’t lighting up and fill in those gaps. I’ll post a picture when we’re done.
We decided to stay home from church tonight so we could decorate our tree together and finish everything up. We have not had a chance to really work on it as a family and that is something that we truly enjoy doing together. The kids are stoked.
