Yes. Weigh-In-Wednesday sucks the big one today. This morning’s weigh in was done with shoes off, clothes on, and after two cups of coffee. Not that it makes much difference because no matter how I look at it I’m still between 180 and 185. I thought about counting it as 184 since it wasn’t quite touching that 185 line. But really.. who cares? It’s all the same chump change.. right? I decided that every time I get a new numeric number on the scale I’m going to snap a picture. I think it would be fun to do it that way.
I didn’t show my toes for a very good reason. You see I have the bright pink nail polish I had on that dates all the way back to my Florida vacation. I know… I ‘m too lazy to remove it with the nail polish remover. If I was feeling up to it I would get that taken care of and maybe paint my nails orange, black, and red for Halloween.
I have fallen off the workout wagon. We have been so sick in our house that there has not been an opportunity to workout OR go to the gym. Fiona has been sick since Saturday morning. She battled a fever all weekend and part of this week and they pretty much said it’s all viral and there is nothing we can do. She has been sick a lot! I’m hoping and praying I can send her back to school tomorrow. Thank goodness it’s just kindergarten.
I myself have been battling a small elevation in temperature. The last time I took my temp it said I was 99 degrees warm. I don’t know what it is about night time but as soon as the sun is down I start getting the chills pretty bad. I’ve been taking Benedryl at night and that seems to be helping but when you listen to me talk I sound Horrible.
We’ve been missing out on a lot! I’ve not been able to make it to the gym. Fiona and Kinsley have missed out on their swim lessons at the gym. Fiona has missed a lot of school. We are not able to participate in AWANA. Kinsley has missed Cubbies. Fiona has missed Sparks. We are so behind in everything. We are all so tired of being sick.
Kinsley has the immune system of super man. Through it all she has not picked up anything. She doesn’t even sneeze! Knock-on-wood I hope she stays healthy because being sick sucks.
