Weighed In And Mesured

Monday came early. Spin Class was great. I had a hard time getting motivated. I had to talk myself into going. Spin class is at 9:15 so as soon as I drop Fiona off at school, Kinsley and I have to move quickly to get to the gym. It was a great workout. I rode 10 miles in just under 50 minutes. Usually if I’m not at the five mile mark halfway through the class it’s my sign to work harder.

Even though today is not a tandem training day I’m still filing this entry under tandem training because after my workout my trainer squeezed me into the schedule to have me weighed and measured. Without getting into too much of the measurements and formulas I will just say that I was very pleased to find out that my body is “average.” That means I’m not severely overweight. I’m only slightly over weight. Yay!!!

She had me step on this BMI machine. I weighed in at 179 lbs. I told her that couldn’t possibly be right because my scale here at the house says 184-185 lbs. There is another scale in the women’s locker room that is more accurate. So after all the measuring and weighing in I weighed myself down there and it said I was 184.5 lbs without shoes on and 186 lbs with my shoes on. So we kept the 179 lbs from the measuring room and the 184.5 from the ladies locker room. She wants to weigh and measure me once a month. We’ll see how it goes.

I have to start keeping a food journal. I’m supposed to write down everything I eat along with the time. She wants to see it every time I come in for tandem training. You know those little yellow writing tablets you can pick up in bulk at Sam’s Club? Well, that’s what I’m keeping my food journal on.

Even though it’s not Weigh In Wednesday I will go ahead and jot down where I’m at as of today.

I need to lose 35.0 lbs. I have 34.5 lbs left to lose.
