Bible Gateway: Welcome to BibleGateway.com, a free service for reading and researching Scripture online–all in the language or translation of your choice! I’ve been using this resource to look stuff up in the Bible for years. Sometimes there are verses I can’t remember right off the top of my head, so this tool comes in handy. This is great for online bible studies too.
BGEA: Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. I’ve been watching and listening to Billy Graham since I was a little girl. My family growing up donated to this ministry. To date, we continue to donate. One day I hope to pass this on to my children.
BrooksideCHURCH: Don has been going to Brookside Church ever since he was a little boy. (Fast Forward to 1998) Don and I met that year and he started bringing me and Lauren to church with him. (Fast Forward to 2001) Don and I were married at Brookside Church. Today we attend Brookside on a Regular basis. They have an excellent children’s ministry as well as adult studies. This is a bible based church and we enjoy participating very much.

Compassion International: Compassion International was something I was introduced to back when Don and I were first married. The thought of families with children all over the world not knowing when their next meal was going to be troubled me. So we decided we needed to participate in helping a family and have been sponsoring since 2001. We have kept in touch with the little girl and her Mom over the years and it has been a joy to know that what we have been giving has been helping to feed mind, body, and spirit. I’m so grateful we are able to help.

I (Heart) TRIBE!: Every week 7th and 8th grade students from all over Omaha come together to be a part of the Tribe community. Our greatest desire at Tribe is to see students trust Jesus with every aspect of their lives.

Kids In Mind: Movie Ratings That Actually Work! A friend of mine recommended this site to me after she found out what had happened to my girls after I took them to see The Princess And The Frog. From now on before I decide on a movie for the whole family I think I will be checking out Kids In Mind first. Just because a movie is a cartoon OR rated G doesn’t mean it’s appropriate for little people.
Laugh your way to a better marriage: Mark Gungor came and performed at our church. They showed one of his videos during one of our Sunday services and he was hilarious. I know I missed a good time so I’m hoping he will come back to our church so I can attend one of his shows.

Lizz Curtis Higgs the Encourager: She really is the encourager. I’ll never forget the first time I ever listened to her speak at Brookside Church. (That’s where we go!) I was sitting in the audience and she said, “You can’t out-sin the Grace of Christ.” That’s when it hit me! At that moment I got it. The light bulb turned on, the knife in the drawer became the sharpest one, and something was going on upstairs! I kept thinking about what she said and realized all that “junk” that “stuff” those “mistakes” – I could put it away for good. I also realized that moment that God was not punishing me. I was punishing me. That’s when I was able to finally let it all go. God is so good!
